May Twenty Twelve: Hannah Ashlea and Shelly D’Inferno

Got some new updates for you today, with a few edits from recent shoots with hannah ashlea, now currently working and living in Hong Kong being as much a success over their as she is over here and had a shoot with the alternative and striking Shelly D’Inferno; here are some of the shots.

Shot above constructed with two side backlights and a front octobox; light flagged off and a purple gel bounced onto the background to add that bust of colour.

This last shot was one of the hardest editing wise and is my first attempt at constructed composite photograph.

March 2012: Hannah Ashlea

Got the opportunity to work with the very talented Hannah Ashlea earlier this month and she was great to work with; from down south we were luckily enough to get her in for a photoshoot before she headed across the water to Hong Kong for a year and we are glad we did.

The thing with Hannah is she has an array of different poses that she can bring to you shoot concept making it stand out amongst the rest; during the day we shot a couple of different sets with hannah and got some amazing results.

February Twenty Twelve: Creative Circle

Recently headed off to a networking / shooting event at one of Newcastle’s local photographic studios (“Banana Studios”; in Byker). The evening consisted of a few drinks a bit of chatting with everyone and catching up with what people had been up to from photographers, models, makeup artists etc. And we also had the chance to add something new to our portfolios with a handful of models provided to photograph on the Night.

Abbey Larissa Bryce was one of the models i was drawn to, who had a great look, great eyes and an enthusiasm for her profession.

February 2012 – Toni

Had a shoot booked in this week with Toni Harrison; I’ve worked with Toni once before but got the opportunity to work here again, she is a very talented model and definately one to look out for in the future; we shot at Newcastle’s ‘Banana Studio’ which is run by photographer Eric Murphy and we took the opportunity to work in their new section of the studio, with a new custom built section boudoir area.

More to come once edited.
