Revisited a shoot from October with ‘Jade-Shadé Reynolds‘ and decided to give a few more images an edit; some that i missed out on first glance; heres the first.
February 2012 – Toni
Had a shoot booked in this week with Toni Harrison; I’ve worked with Toni once before but got the opportunity to work here again, she is a very talented model and definately one to look out for in the future; we shot at Newcastle’s ‘Banana Studio’ which is run by photographer Eric Murphy and we took the opportunity to work in their new section of the studio, with a new custom built section boudoir area.
More to come once edited.

January 2012: A New Year
Started 2012 with a shoot with the lovely melissa loan from blyth who travelled down to newcastle to work with me in the studio; the session consisted of two parts some shots i was wanting to create and some she was wanting to do; melissa has a very heavy glamour look to her so she was wanting to try something less glamour styled and more fashiony so she brought this black high neck top and some black underwear when combined gave the look of a high end one suit style outfit that worked well together;
And a bit of lingerie thrown in there too.
Then we set onto my ideas; I was trying to create a bit of a funky glamour skater chick kinda look so headed off to native skate shop in Newcastle where the guys in there were a big help and allowed me to use one of their best boards to use in a photoshoot and we had an idea to use a black vest top with helmet and Comical underwear; here are the results.
Thanks for reading guys and remember if your looking for a photoshoot to give your portfolio that something different just get in touch.

December 2011: Last Submission of the year and overall View
This post is going to be a bit of a long one with a few images looking at what i believe to be my best work of the year, my more successful shoots and why they work and what i believe they help bring to my portfolio.
But First off, been wanting one of these for a while now but eventually invested in an ipad 2 a bit of a christmas present for myself, great to use and great for showing people my portfolio whilst out and about and works better in that regards then either carrying around a hard copy or using my iphone; and business cards arnt always effective in people visiting the site once they get home so this helps out a lot; First thing i done was upload my portfolio (few games) and customise my home page with my logo.
Next Up with Christmas just around the corner i was looking at something get my mam for christmas first thoughts was a photograph of me and my sister a bit of an updated one to the one she has already (about 7 years ago now and with hair) but was difficult to get a spare few hours between me and my sister with one or the other working, so I decided to bring my mams dog in for a Photoshoot to get printed on to canvas and give to her.
And Final bit I’ve selected 6 Photographs shot in 2011 Which i believe are some of my better shots with some fantastic models.
1. Location shoot at Mayfield studios ‘Newcastle’ with the alternative model Navada saw us trying something a bit edgy and quirky to go with her look and her style acompanied by her mam who was her mua and stylist for the day.
2. Location shoot with the same model, but this time turned the styling to more of a vintage look heading off to an old abandoned railway yard to give it that alternative and unique feel, went for the strobist approach on this one in terms of lighting.
3. This shoot saw me work with one of the up and coming models in Newcastle and absolute delight to work with, has a great look and sense of style but most importantly her own ideas and a great enthusiasm to her work, look forward to working with her again before she heads off to london; Toni Harrison.
4. This shot was taken on the same week as the one above with toni and that was working with the up and coming georgia who has a very diverse look being able to pull off a number of different styles with the help of a great mua; despite georgia turning up with a flu bug she got on with the shoot no bother and was able to perform to the highest standards; before the shoot we looked to create a high fashion styled shot so high waisted trousers and low cut top; combined with a number of different coloured glasses that georgia had, and we went for a high key feel to the image.
5. This was set out with the lovely siobhan to create a remake of the christina aguilara shoot with that beauty look strong girls; but the shot soon adapted into a strong contrast black and white shot which made her eyes and features pop out.
6 and 7 combined.
This one is combined as they were both shot on location on the same day with the greatly talented Kelly Anne Magill at slayley hall; this shoot took place over the full day with a few different models and a highly talented mua, for this shoot we went with a vintage based shoot to work with gorgeous surrounding, love these two shots as they have a vintage but classy feel to it and a real fashion look to the images, and work with my passion for location work.
Thanks for reading this guys and I hope you continue to follow my work in the new year and i am looking to some better and exciting projects over the year; challenging my skills and my work.

August 2011
August saw me taking a little bit off time of my usual portrait work being asked by psyche to help out with their autumn collection which was coming into store as it was their busy period and their usual photographer was due to get married and jet off for her honeymoon, so this meant a 9 – 5 job for a month travelling down to middlesbrough from Newcastle, photographing their stock that was coming in, this ranged from Barbour through to Armani and Lulu Guinness, also during the time down their I worked with some staff in the store to produce photographs for the home page seen below as well as doing some plate shots of the store to be used for their re – opening of the redesigned womens wear. www.psyche.co.uk/

July 2011
I booked up mayfield studio for one evening to work with the two models georgia and toni to produce a series of images to help add and improve their fast growing portfolios, with georgia we had chatted and decided to go for the high key, high fashion style of work utilising one of the sets we had at our disposal, we also tried a more haunting style shot that are still on my list to edit.
Secondly we had Toni who had just a few photoshoots under her belt but you couldnt tell, she had a lot of good ideas and once exaplaining what i was looking for from the shot she was able to pull it off with ease, great look and a fantastic body which worked for the style of images we were wanting to produce.

June 2011
Had a few photographic shoots booked in for the month of June most notably working at banana studio on a fashion shoot with 4 stunning models and the fantastic hair stylist ‘michelle Selby’ the day included working through a number of different on set locations to produce an array of photographs to best show off the models and the hair, makeup and styling. This process involved trying a few different lighting setups something which I am aiming to do over the upcoming months to try and get something new from my work.
Been looking into how I am displaying my work and looking into the use of diptychs and triptychs in my work to best show of a set.
